Online consultation terms

These terms apply to the first consultation you book and pay for on this website. Please read them before paying: by booking, you accept them.

Who provides the service

What the consultation includes

A 45-minute session, at the office in Puerto del Rosario or by video call, to review your situation with the documents you bring. You leave knowing your options, the time limits that apply and what handling the matter would cost.

The consultation does not include drafting documents, further steps or a written report. If you then instruct us, a separate engagement letter with its own quote is signed.

Price and payment

The price is the one shown when you book, IGIC (Canary Islands tax) included. You pay when you book, through Stripe, using the payment methods shown at that moment. The firm never sees or stores your card details. You will receive the payment receipt by email and the firm’s invoice.

Changes and cancellations

You can change or cancel your appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before, using the link in your confirmation email or by writing to us, and we refund the full amount. If you do not attend without notice, the consultation is treated as provided.

If we need to change the appointment, we offer you another date or a refund, whichever you prefer.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have 14 calendar days from booking to withdraw without giving any reason (article 102 of the Spanish consumer protection law, TRLGDCU). Just send us a clear statement to juan.rodriguez@vnjabogados.com; you may use the form below, but you do not have to. We refund what you paid within 14 days at the latest, using the same payment method.

If the consultation takes place within those 14 days, by booking you expressly ask for it to be provided on the chosen date and acknowledge that, once it has been provided, you lose the right of withdrawal (article 103(a) of the same law).

Complaints

If something has not gone well, write to us at juan.rodriguez@vnjabogados.com and we will reply. You may also contact the consumer service of the Las Palmas Bar Association or the consumer authorities where you live.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
